My PhD research focuses on the design and characterization of multi-component metallic–semiconductor nanomaterials, mainly Ag/Au-modified TiO₂ combined with 2D MoS₂/WS₂, to correlate their composition, morphology, and phase with photocatalytic and photoelectric properties. The main techniques I use include hydrothermal synthesis, photocatalytic metal deposition, SEM/EDS, HR-TEM, UV-Vis, Raman, XPS, and photocurrent measurements.

My research focuses on the design and synthesis of titanium dioxide (TiO₂)-based photocatalysts. I apply sol-gel, hydrothermal and photochemical reduction methods to prepare them. The obtained materials are used in the photocatalytic degradation of various types of microplastics and dyes. To carry out a complex physicochemical analysis of the developed structures and the progress of pollutant photodegradation, I apply advanced microscopic techniques (SEM, TEM, STM and AFM) and spectroscopic techniques (UV-Vis, FT-IR and Raman spectroscopy).
