The Inorganic Chemistry and Magnetochemistry Group has been established on 1 September 2024 from the three former units of the Sub-Department of Inorganic Chemistry and Magnetochemistry, namely, Laboratory of Coordination Compounds (Head: Danuta Tomczyk, Ph.D., archive website), Laboratory of Environmental Threats (Head: Dominik Szczukocki, Ph.D., Associate Professor, archive website), and Laboratory of Magnetostatic Research (Head: Marek Zieliński, M.Eng., Ph.D., D.Sc., Associate Professor, archive website). The Head of the Inorganic Chemistry and Magnetochemistry Group is Marek Zieliński, M.Eng., PhD, D.Sc., Associate Professor.

- Investigations of chemical, physical, mechanical, thermal, and biological properties of polymer composites also in a constant magnetic field.
- Chemical, electrochemical, and organic syntheses reactions in a constant magnetic field.
- Recycling of selected packaging materials and laminates.
- Effects of xenobiotics on phytoplankton.
- Bisphenol A and its analogues: toxicity, determination, and degradation.
- Chemical hazards in surface and domestic waters.
- Chemical equilibria in solutions of macromolecular compounds.
- Mechanism and kinetics of electrode processes and electrocatalysis on electrodes modified with transition metal complexes with Schiff bases and azamacrocycles.
