In our unit, we deal with several research areas, among which we can distinguish electrochemical studies of macrocyclic complex systems with metal ions, which is currently widely developed and driven by many research centers involving a number of scientists from various scientific disciplines, both experimental and theoretical. The use of coordination chemistry in such systems is still growing, and the information about the key importance of macrocyclic metal ion complexes in biological systems is well known.

Also homogeneous catalysis with the use of coordination systems is more and more often used in the studied reactions.

Many applications of coordination compounds can be found in research on laser techniques, fuel cells or problems related to environmental research.

In the projects conducted by our group, we use experience in electrochemical research and in the study of chemical equilibria, both acid-base and complexation process equilibria - using various measurement techniques (potentiometry, voltammetry, NMR, UV-VIS and MS).

We use the software developed by our team, adapting it to the needs of conducted research as well as standard solutions found in other research centers.
