Laboratory of Magnetostatic Research (LMR) has been established at the Subdepartment of Inorganic Chemistry and Magnetochemistry of University of Lodz. Since October 1, 2017, the head of LMR is Marek Zieliński, MEng, PhD, DSc, associate professor.
The main subject of research in LMR is the effect of static magnetic field on chemical, electrochemical, and biochemical processes and materials, including biopolymers. The reusing of wastes such as phosphogypsum and coal fly ash as components of construction materials and polymers is also investigated.
