The Sub-Department of Inorganic Chemistry and Magnetochemistry has been created based on the Rector's Order No. 5/2017 of 6 October 2017 on the organizational structure changes of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Łódź. The Head of this Sub-Department, since 1 October 2017, is Marek Zieliński, M.Eng., PhD, D.Sc., Associate Professor, based on the Rector's nomination No. L.Dz.DO-120/3436/N/2017.
The Sub-Department of Inorganic Chemistry and Magnetochemistry consist of the three laboratories:
- Laboratory of Coordination Compounds (Head: Danuta Tomczyk, Ph.D.)
- Laboratory of Environmental Threats (Head: Dominik Szczukocki, Ph.D., Associate Professor)
- Laboratory of Magnetostatic Research (Head: Marek Zieliński, M.Eng., Ph.D., D.Sc., Associate Professor)
