Chemists from UniLodz at the 20th Anniversary Edition of The International Conference on Electroanalysis (ESEAC 2026)

The 20th anniversary edition of The International Conference on Electroanalysis (ESEAC 2026) – one of the most important events in the field of electroanalysis – took place in Lisbon on 7–11 June 2026. It was also attended by researchers from the University of Lodz Faculty of Chemistry.

The conference was attended by nearly 300 participants from 42 countries.

The Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Lodz was represented by a team from the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry:

  • dr hab. Mariola Brycht, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz – poster: “Thin Organic Film Electrodes as a Promising Tool for The Investigation of the Anticancer Drug Vincristine”
  • dr hab. Konrad Rudnicki – oral presentation: “Electrochemical Approaches at the Liquid–Liquid Interfaces for Ensuring Food Quality Control”
  • Dr Karolina Kwaczyński – poster: “Unmasking Street Amphetamine”
  • mgr Emilia Powałka – poster: "Towards Electrochemical Determination of Psilocybin Using ITIES”
  • mgr Olga Szymaniec – oral presentation: "Disposable 3D-Printed Sensing Platforms for Drug Electroanalysis at ITIES”
  • mgr Andrzej Krempiński – poster: "Electrochemical Behaviour of Sunset Yellow FCF at the Electrified Liquid-Liquid Interface”
  • mgr Grzegorz Kowalski – poster: "Electrochemical Platform for Electroanalysis of Codeine: Which Does it Better?”
     

We are proud to announce that the poster by Dr Karolina Kwaczyński entitled “Unmasking Street Amphetamine” received an award from the journal „Analyst” (Royal Society of Chemistry).
