"Chemistry of Mobility: Find your Erasmus+ Formula" – New Interactive Initiative for Students Promoting Erasmus+ Mobility at the UniLodz Faculty of Chemistry

The Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Lodz has launched the "Chemistry of Mobility: Find Your Erasmus+ Formula" initiative, organised by the Student Mobility Team. Its goal is to promote the Erasmus+ programme among students, identify barriers to international travel and support students in overcoming them. The project is co-funded by the European Union.

As part of the initiative, an interactive installation, Erasmus Puzzle Wall, is located in the faculty's main circulation route – on the wall opposite the coffee machines. This open-concept space allows students to actively contribute to its content.

The QR Quiz Barrier is the second key element of the initiative. This initiative involves two short online quizzes (taking only 2-3 minutes to complete):

  • 1 April – 17 May 2026 – Quiz I (on the mobility profile): its results will allow for the generation of an individual profile, demonstrating that mobility can be tailored to various needs and capabilities.
  • 18 May – 28 June 2026 – Quiz II (on student needs and concerns): focused on identifying challenges related to Erasmus+ mobility.

The quizzes will be accessible via QR codes placed at various locations throughout the faculty. Participants may participate in each quiz only once. The Student Mobility Team will use the answers to both quizzes to compile an overall report on student needs and concerns.

The initiative is accompanied by an extensive incentive system. Each person participating in the quiz will receive a small gift (a chemical key chain) from the organisers. Additionally, there will be two prize draws for each stage:

  • for quiz I: 24 April 2026 and 18 May 2026
  • for quiz II: 8 June 2026 and 29 June 2026

Five people will be selected in each draw. The prizes are attractive sets of university merchandise (Set I: T-shirt + bag + special 3D-printed gift; Set II: socks + bag + special 3D-printed gift).

At the end of the initiative, on 30 June 2026, two main prizes (black university sweatshirts) will be drawn among all attendees of both quizzes.

The initiative aims to encourage students to explore the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme.
