Bio
I have been employed as an Assistant Professor (research and teaching position) at the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Łódź since October 1, 2019. The subject of my scientific work concerns electrochemical studies of biologically active compounds, miniaturization of electroanalytical devices and systems, food chemistry, and more recently, 3D printing and bioprinting as well as 3D imaging.
My scientific achievements include co-authorship of 31 publications in reputable journals from the Philadelphia list, one chapter in an English-language monograph, five chapters in Polish-language monographs, two patents, two patent applications, two international utility model claims, as well as over 130 presentations in the form of invited lectures, oral communications, and posters at both national and international conferences.
Additionally, between 2018 and 2022, I was the principal investigator of a PRELUDIUM 15 grant awarded by the National Science Centre (NCN), and since December 2022, I have been leading an OPUS 23 grant from the same institution. Moreover, I am a co-investigator in the SONATA 18 project and an interdisciplinary IDUB project, as well as a scientific supervisor of two PRELUDIUM grants. I am open to international collaboration. Over the past five years, I have completed a number of long- and short-term research internships under the CEEPUS and ERASMUS programs, conducting research in countries such as Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Romania, Serbia, and the Netherlands.
Last year, I was also awarded a BGF scholarship from the French Embassy for outstanding young researchers, which enabled me to carry out a two-month postdoctoral internship at the University of Lorraine in France.
So far, I have supervised 6 Master's and 5 Bachelor's theses, and I have served as an auxiliary supervisor for one PhD dissertation. Currently, I am an auxiliary supervisor for two ongoing PhD projects, and I supervise two Master’s and two Bachelor’s theses.
My current Hirsch index is 14.
